Impact Evaluation Data

Statistics of the impact of a particular programme or larger initiative (such as UN figures on global goals). Impact = change in problem being addressed which can be attributed to the project in question. Includes data such as - knowledge shifts, increase in discussion of issues, change in attitudes, etc.


Conducted at the end of a project to determine whether the programme has achieved its objectives, and to demonstrate its effectiveness.

Indicators

Devices or methods that give information about the functioning of a programme. Tools through which to evaluate. A measure that yields information or evidence about a problem or condition.

Process Evaluation Descriptions

How many people attended?, What kinds of strategies were used and why?, etc. An evaluation of the process of an initiative or project.


Conducted during project implementation to determine whether activities are proceeding according to plan.
